Our new Spring collection is now online!
February 14, 2014
Spring is just around the corner and it's time to think about some updates to your new season look. We asked the Seven Boot Lane design team to share some of the inspiration behind their latest creations which launch this week.
Denim. We don't make jeans at Seven Boot Lane, but we do make boots that are designed to go with yours - from your favourite skinnies to the most relaxed of boyfriend cuts. The secret lies in the shape of the ankle cut and of course in the choice of colours. We carefully consider our shapes to make them as flattering as possible. And colours? Our palette of sumptuous neutrals is irresistible this season.
Cut Out. It's a look that has been gathering momentum for a while and works beautifully in our collection. We have approached it in several different ways but our favourite is the Brandy boot. Made on our popular Aretha last, it's a versatile take on the open ankle boot theme, designed to be worn all year round. Dress it up or down, close the buckles or wear it open, it's up to you.
Animal. There's always plenty of animal prints and textiles in Spring and this year is no exception. We decided to take the understated approach and give you something that works beautifully now with denim or print trousers, but will stand the test of time and make a great summer ankle boot too - our Bali boot in natural snake.
Flats. Our flat ankle boots have been hugely popular in winter, and for Spring 2014 we are introducing various new shapes on the ever-popular Alice last. Bayarma is a new Chelsea boot that comes in a range of leather and suedes - cut very low to the ankle it has a flattering shape and is already a best seller for this Spring. Beth is a beautiful evolution of our Alice boot, cut a bit closer to the leg and boasting some very cool spaghetti fringing for a touch of festival chic later in the summer.
Slippers and brogues. We are all-year round boot fans at Seven Boot Lane but it hasn't stopped us sneaking a couple of charming little brogues and slippers into the collection. True to our philosophy, Bella and Blaise have simple, flattering lines and will look just as great with your skinny jeans now as they will with shorts and dresses in a few months time. You may even see a couple of sandals when the weather warms up...
